This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions of using Tutoronline4u’s services. By booking a lesson, both tutors and students agree to the following terms.
Refund Policy - the basics
1. Student Lateness

If a student is more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled lesson without prior notice, the lesson will be deemed missed.

In such cases, the tutor will have the right to restart the lesson from the beginning, and no refund will be provided for the missed time.

If the delay prevents the lesson from taking place entirely, the session will be treated as a "no-show" and charged in full.
2. Student Cancellations

Students must notify Tutoronline4u at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start time if they are unable to attend a lesson.

Failure to give sufficient notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.

Cancellations made with proper notice may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
3. Tutor Absence

If a tutor fails to attend a scheduled lesson without prior agreement, a £10 penalty will be applied.

This penalty will be deducted from the tutor’s earnings for that week.

If the absence is due to an emergency or unavoidable circumstances, the tutor must notify Tutoronline4u as soon as possible to avoid the penalty.
4. Refunds

Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

The tutor fails to attend without notice, and no rescheduling is possible.

Technical issues caused by Tutoronline4u prevent the lesson from taking place.

Refunds will not be issued for lateness, failure to notify of cancellations, or missed lessons by the student.
5. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding cancellations, lateness, or refunds must be raised in writing within 48 hours of the lesson.

Tutoronline4u will review the case and make a final decision.
